Scholarly Associations Defend Tenure and Academic Freedom in Wisconsin

ASEEES, along with 19 other scholarly societies, has co-signed a statement released by the American Historical Association to express our concern regarding proposals pending in the Wisconsin state legislature that threaten to undermine several longstanding features of the state’s current higher education system: shared governance, tenure, and academic freedom.
